This Privacy Policy is issued by SLOW LABO SDN BHD ("we", "us" or "our") in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (the "Act"). It explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data when you use the FIRSTMATE App and the FIRSTMATE Rewards programme.
1. Personal data collected
We collect your mobile number, preferred name and, where provided, your date of birth, year of birth and email address. We also record your orders, points, vouchers and communication preferences.
2. Purposes
Your personal data is processed to (a) create and manage your account; (b) prepare and hand over your orders, including calling out your preferred name; (c) award points and vouchers; (d) respond to enquiries and resolve issues; (e) comply with legal obligations; and (f) with your consent, send you offers and news.
3. Disclosure
Your personal data may be disclosed to our point-of-sale system provider and our payment service provider, strictly to the extent necessary to process your orders and payments, and to authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention
Full order details are retained for three (3) months and thereafter reduced to a minimal record, which is deleted after twelve (12) months. Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
6. Your rights
Subject to the Act, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time in My Account under Settings. Requests may be made using the contact details published on the Help page.
7. Obligatory information
Your mobile number is required to register and to use membership features. Other information is optional; if it is not provided, some features (such as birthday rewards) may not be available.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published in the App.
9. Language
This Policy is issued in English and Bahasa Malaysia. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
